Shan - did I see your name on the plaque of the NTTA President's Cup as a past multi-year winner of the Cup?
Are you OK with posting some information on your trials exploits and achievements? Brands riden, favorite bikes, who you've hob-nobbed with, etc. Might make a nice sidebar in the newspaper - just a brief bio.

Clark, That's a great one. Shan is a excellent rider. I've seen in the past he can podium his support line class at a national. Where did he get such an eye for the perfect trials photo shot? Heck the NATC even honored him this year for his writing, as did I in Cycle News. Where did Shan come from? Hey, And could you give us a teaser story and a couple of US indoor photo shots on the web home page?

Clark - Yes, that is my name on the President's Cup, but that was another lifetime ago. My memory is only good enough to tell you who Shan Moore is now.
At the risk of sounding mushy, Shan Moore is (with respect to trials):
- Someone who is in awe of anyone in the Champ class.
- Someone who is in awe of people who dedicate themselves to unselfishly contributing their time to the promotion of trials (or any other noble cause, for that matter).
- Someone who is in awe of Hawley Slayton, Jordi Tarres and my Dad.
- The uncle of Matt Moore.
- Someone who is eternally grateful to his wife and children for allowing him to spend more time than anyone can imagine doing what he loves.
- Someone who valued Gary Jackson?s friendship.
- Someone who is willing to drive from one end of the country to the other just to cover an event and be around trials folks.
- Someone who finds it hard to believe that, with so much junk on television, we can?t get more than 30 minutes of Trials coverage per year.
- The editor of Trials Competition Newspaper.

The virtue of modesty is in short supply in the world today but you've mastered the art.
I think I saw you at the Lone Star Two-Day... you were the pleasant guy with a big smile and a camera, right?! I was scoring section 7 for the afternoon riders on Sunday with Michael Forester... and I'm sure you passed through. I was too busy yelling, 'rider!' and punching fives to have a moment to shake your hand. I'll look you up at the next regional - I'd like a little history lesson.
