Any suggestions for an alternative gas tank to fit a 76 TL250?
My preference would be an aftermarket plastic piece.
I have a nice one (tank) on my TL and I'd like to keep that way. But, as Mechanic Mike says: "What good is the bike if you don't ride it?"
I'd like to fit a less precious tank to it for every-day use.
Any suggestions?

Try B&J racing.

He lists a fiberglass tank for the TL125 and may have some thoughts on what you could use on a 250.

Are you bringing the TL to Dickson, TN this year with the rest of your Tejas gang?

Clark industries makes some nice plastic tanks that can be used in Trials applications. I have one on my 74 Yamaha TY250. It's listed as mimi Z holds right at a gallon of gas.

If you want one just a little bigger, here's an option.

You can get them in just about any color. Should be able to find something there that would work.
